Move Out Request

30-Day Notice: Tenants are required to provide a 30-day notice to terminate their lease. The last day of tenancy will be 30 days from the date the notice is submitted or the lease termination date, whichever is later.

Early Termination: If you wish to terminate your lease before the agreed-upon term, you must immediately pay an “Early Termination Fee” equivalent to one month’s rent. In addition, a “Leasing Fee” of $99 per month will be charged and must continue to be paid for each month the property remains advertised for lease. Please note, the security deposit cannot be used to pay the Leasing Fee or the Early Termination Fee.

Responsibility for Rent & Utilities: Tenants remain responsible for paying all rent and utilities until a new tenant moves into the property.

The process to give your notice

  1. Sign in to your AppFolio account using the button below.
  2. Once logged in, click Contact Us from the navigation bar on the left side of the screen.
  3. In the Contact Options section, click Give Notice to Vacate. This will take you to the Move Out Notice form.
  4. Enter your Desired Move-Out Date.
  5. Provide your Reason for Leaving.
  6. If you already know your forwarding address, you can choose to provide it at this time.
    Note: If you would like your security deposit sent via check, the forwarding address is required.
  7. Select whether you’d like your Security Deposit Refunded via check or ACH.
  8. If you choose ACH, select your bank account details for the deposit.
  9. Once all information is entered, click Submit.
  10. A representative from Premier Property Management will contact you with further information and instructions regarding your move-out process.

When will I receive my security deposit back?

You will receive your security deposit within 30 days after the final day of your tenancy.

No, the final inspection is conducted after your move-out date. You will receive a final inspection report after it’s completed.

Ensure all cleaning tasks on the checklist are completed and leave the unit in move-in-ready condition.
Should I patch and paint the walls myself?

No, management will handle any necessary repairs for wall damage and deduct them from your security deposit if necessary.
Should I repair the damage to the unit myself?

This depends on the type and extent of the damage. Please seek guidance before making any repairs.
Can I use my security deposit to cover my rent for last month?

No, the security deposit cannot be used for last month’s rent.
